Grace in Bloom: Lessons from Our Introductory Ikebana Class

It’s blooming season! 🌸 I’d like to showcase the beautiful work of one of our Introductory Ikebana Class participants. He created a stunning Rittai Form, crafted with care and attention to detail. Using baby’s breath in Ikebana can be tricky (too much can overwhelm the arrangement) but when each branch and flower is placed with intention, the result is graceful and harmonious.

In this class, I teach the foundational rules of the Misho Ryu school. By following these principles, you’ll discover the natural shapes and unique qualities of each branch, enhancing the elegance of every movement. This mindful practice reminds us to pause, appreciate beauty, and “stop and smell the roses.”

Even on your busiest workdays, a few fresh flowers can brighten your space and bring a sense of calm. Let nature’s touch offer you a moment of soothing comfort.
